Taco and Nina |
|
Taco and Nina are two perfectly normal kids who form a colorful patchwork family with their mother Anka. The father of Taco, the younger one, was Mexican. Nina's father was German. Both men took off and left Anka to raise them on her own. The chaotic but loving mother must be doing something right, since both children are remarkably responsible and mature for their age. Except that they don't always listen to their mom. The kids have a particularly fine power of observation, and sense when something is amiss. That's why they're ideal detectives! In their first case, "On the Track of the Kidnapper," Taco and Nina search for an abducted woman and suspect a good-looking man who's cozying up to their mother. Is Anka in danger of being the next victim? In their second case, "No More School," the kids and their mother travel to Prague, where Anka is setting up a business with a partner. The family is staying with an old friend, Tereza, on the outskirts of Prague. Tereza is worried about a series of break-ins in nearby houses. Of course, the kids can't help but sneaking out at night to catch the crook red-handed. Anka forbids them to continue, but did Sherlock Holmes ever listen to his mother?
