As the great-great-great-grandson of the celebrated racing pig Rudi, young piglet Rudi IV proves that he's truly worthy of his ancestor when he escapes from the butcher's clutches by running for his life. Little Rudi's first big race ends in the arms of 10-year-old Fritz, who has just moved to the country with his dad, Daniel. A recent widower, Daniel feels that Fritz will have a better childhood in the company of his grandparents, who own a big farmhouse. But though they're at home in the country, they're not used to a piglet in the house! Rudi soon wins over Grandpa, and is on the best way to melting the hearts of Grandma and Daniel. Fritz and his pet pig aren't the only topics of conversation out here in the provinces: a new doctor has just set up a practice in the town. The doctor is not only a woman, but a Turkish one at that!
