"Never give up!" could be the motto of Dr. Christian Kleist, both as a doctor and father of two children. When Kleist's beloved wife dies in an accident, he, daughter Lisa (16) and son Peter (12) are devastated. Yet Christian knows that this is the beginning of a new chapter in his life, one that he and his children must write together. They move to a small town, where he opens a practice as an internist. Thanks to his warmth and compassion, his practice is soon booming: he not only examines and heals patients, but also listens to them and their concerns.
