Bucharest Flesh

Lara is shocked: her parents and little sister are dead. Allegedly a car accident in Romania... But Lara, a student, feels there's more to it. So she sets out for Bucharest with three friends. There she meets with mute contempt and is told to leave the country. Now. Lara finds it odd that no officials will speak to her, especially since her father was a scientist involved in humanitarian aid to Romania. Thanks to a fearless young woman, Nikita, Lara and her friends are led to the scene of the accident, deep in the woods. But as night sets in, Lara learns that her family was murdered. Worse yet, she learns that her "heroic" father had been exporting highly toxic meat to Romania, which was fed to Bucharest's street children. The contaminated meat provoked consequences that no one could have imagined... Alone in Nikita's hut, far from civilization, Lara and her friends soon discover the horror hiding in the remote Romanian hinterland. The victims of Lara's father do not just haunt, but hunt the students who are desperately trying to escape from the bloodthirsty killers...
