There is an old airfield on the outskirts of a large Polish town. Apart from light aircraft and test helicopters, many animals have made it their home, especially the European ground squirrel or souslik. 11.000 of these relatives of the common squirrel live between the runways and the adjacent meadows. One of them is called Marcin, a young male, who is experiencing his first summer together with his siblings and his mother.
