Arctic diving adventure
As we know, the tip of an iceberg does not reveal everything. Below water level, float frosty mountains, complete with caves and chasms. In small boats, divers make their way to Greenland and Iceland, to places rarely seen by humans. On Island's northern coast, on the seabed of the Arctic Ocean, the divers discover 90°C hot springs of volcanic origin, observe seabirds hunting for prey under water, and explore a hitherto unknown cave on the Vestmanna Islands. The reward for countless diving expeditions: the alleged life-threatening Arctic ice desert conceals an astoundingly colourful and multifaceted marine wildlife.
This exciting travelogue presents unusual, hitherto unseen footage. Off Greenland's west coast, beneath the Arctic ice, the divers discover a whale cemetery, explore the undersides of icebergs, and come across an unknown wreck.
